How to Crochet Comfy Yet Sparkly Bangles with Swarovski

Today has been spent writing up the how-tos behind the making of a series of colourfully sparkly Swarovski bangles: see Flat Based Crochet Bangles in multiple Swarovski colors.

DIY Notes on Handmade Crochet Bangles with Swarovski
I don't have to tell you how seemingly more time-consuming it is to write out the steps in making a piece of creation than it is to actually fumble around to find the right way to make them.  The latter holds the magic of suspending time in the joys of finding ways to achieve what the mind has only caught nebulous glimpses of.

However, when possible, the step-by-steps notes are important - for sharing as well for remembering how a particular effect was achieved.  This then can be preserved, if not for prosperity, then as a salve against the fuzziness of future memory!

I hope you will enjoy the little tutorial on crochet bangles with a flat base.  The flat base, together with the slightly stretchy yarn used, ensures bangles that sit flat and feel comfortabe when worn.  But you know, having something so comfy and snug is at times, not sufficient.  We do need that sparkle of joy and light reflected glints and there are no crystals as brilliant as that from Swarovski.

The DIY notes for Flat Based Crochet Bangles in multiple Swarovski colors talk about both the making of the crochet bangles, with and without dangles.

Namaste and may your beading journey be sparkly!
